Q. What are the items that should be avoided from being put into the product for grinding?

A:

• Avoid putting the following items into the disposer to be ground:
• Long-fibred foodstuffs, such as artichokes
• Extremely hard, large objects, such as large bones and mussel or oyster shells
• Garden waste
• Any non-organic waste such as glass, china, plastic, metal, oil, hot fat, corrosive drain pipe cleaners or chemicals, such as paints and varnishes.
